IMAYAM TV, started on 13th April 2006, is a general entertainment channel reaching 60 million people throughout Tamilnadu. The programs are designed to entertain the entire family. The main URL of the channel is general audience and the programming is packaged in such a way that it should attract all the age groups. IMAYAM NEWS (A segment of Imayam TV) was started on 10th September 2009. News is telecasted at 8 am, 1.30 pm, 8 pm & 10.00 pm respectively every day, covering all the important happenings of Tamilnadu. Experienced journalist throughout Tamilnadu has been employed to give unbiased, accurate and timely news. The viewership and response to our programs and the news has been excellent.

Everyday, efforts are taken to improve the packaging of the programming and to make IMAYAM NEWS a part of every household entertainment.   
 
Our NEWS is having a very good response in the market and it is being viewed by a great audience. We have 4 news segments daily at 8.00 am, 1.30 pm, 8 pm and 10.pm. We have a good viewership for our news.
We have political based debate programme like Kutramum Pinaniyum and Suvadugal on Weekends Nights (i.e Sat & Sun) 9.30 pm.

We have Live programme daily 3 times at 11.00 am (Penmani), 2.00 pm (Jolly Time) and 7.00 pm (Prime Live) and on Saturdays morning 9 am (Vaazhthugal) and on Sundays 12.00 nn (Sports Quiz). In these segments also, the channel is having a great viewership. The response through phone calls for our live interactive programmes has been phenomenal and proof enough for its viewership.

During these live programmes enormous calls are continuously hitting our system and nearly 5000 hits (numbers) are hitting our board and this shows our live programmes are having a very great viewership in the market. Apart from these Live shows, we have film category programmes in which reviews, ratings and debates about the films, Celebrity interviews are packaged. Road Shows, Cookery, Comedy Shows are also added to the spice of the programming package.

Further to this, we have a big viewership among Christian community. Our channel is having morning band (6.00 am to 8.00 am), evening band (5.00 pm to 6.30 pm), which is exclusively packaged with Christian programmes. We have associated our night band (9.00pm to 9.30 pm) with Jesus Calls Ministries, which is one of the largest Christian ministries in India. In Tamilnadu, nearly 10% (nearly 6 millions) of the total population are Christians and most of the Christians are watching our programmes.

Our channel IMAYAM TV is tied with Tamilnadu Thouheet Jamaath one of the biggest Muslim spiritual organization which is having members more than 60% of the Muslim population in Tamilnadu (i.e. 3.5 million members).
Additional to this, our channel Imayam TV is having a good viewership in Middle East region also, as most of the familiar channels are pay channels and ours is Free to Air channel.

Over all, Imayam TV is widely watched by all community people across all age groups.
